Preparation
Step 1 Cut the carrots into small pieces, dice the onion and tomatoes.
Step 2 Heat the rapeseed oil in a large pot. Sauté the potatoes, carrots and onions for a few minutes.
Step 3 Peel the potatoes and dice them into small pieces. Add them to the pot together with the tomato paste, a little salt and cumin and briefly fry everything in the kettle.
Step 4 Bring the water to a boil in a kettle.
Step 5 Add the lentils, tomatoes and boiling water to the pot.
Step 6 Simmer over medium heat for 20 minutes.
Step 7 Season with cumin, salt and pepper.

1 tsp rapeseed oil (5 g)
100 g potatoes
2 tbsp tomato paste (30 g)

Pinch of cumin
750 ml water
100 g red lentils (dry weight)
