Preparation
Step 1 Pour a little boiling water over the peas and let them thaw briefly.
Step 2 Drain the peas and puree them with the tahini, garlic, parsley and lime juice in a stand mixer until creamy (alternatively, use a hand blender).
Step 3 Season with salt and pepper.
Step 4 Toast the wholemeal toast and spread the pea cream on it.
TIP:
1. Peas are rich in fiber and are a great source of protein, which also provides you with numerous vitamins and minerals.
2. Fresh spinach or rocket also looks wonderful on this toast!
100 g peas (frozen)
20 g Tahini (sesame butter)
1 Garlic clove
10 g Fresh parsley
2 tbsp Lime juice (30 ml)
Pinch of Salt & pepper
2 Slices of wholemeal toast (50 g)
